The February 1st meeting of Vermilion Lions Club had a very special guest speaker, new Vermilion High Coach and Athletic Director Ben Ohlemacher stopped in told the club about the exciting new plans for Vermilion Athletics.
From the much talked about Purple Field, to new track, field house and improvements to lockers and weight training facilities, excellence was outlined for future Sailor interscholastic athletic activities. Also discussed were high standards for conduct and academic standards for Vermilion's student athletes.

A portion from the sale of Vermilion Lions Club French fries during football games, band festivals and other school activities go toward band and athletic booster clubs.
