On hand to present the check were Steve Holovacs, Gerry Masinova, and "Leo" the Lion.
The amount donated was raised through the sale of Lions Club French Fries at their popular "Friday, Football and Fries" events during Vermilion Sailor home games. Proceeds from the sale of fries were split between the Athletic boosters, the Band boosters and the Lions Club. With the Lions Club portion going toward meeting various needs in the community.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the booster club for allowing us to sell fries at the games. We hope this partnership continues for the betterment of all in the future.
