Lions International Donates $6.1 Million to Provide Hope, Homes in Haiti..

When a major earthquake hit Haiti last January, many families lost everything. Our members were among the first to offer help, including food, water and shelter.
A year later, we’re still working to provide hope – and homes – in Haiti.

Six hundred families are moving from Lions-provided tents into new provisional homes, thanks to Lions around the world who donated US $6.1 million to the LCIF Haiti Earthquake Fund.

This photo shows one of the new homes being built by LCIF and HELP, a German NGO.
