Lions Get A Visit From The Summer Lunch Bunch

Kathie McBride of Vermilion's Summer Lunch Bunch was the guest speaker at the May 3rd meeting of the Vermilion Lions Club. Kathie shared with us the opportunity for kids throughout our community to join the fun at the Summer Lunch Bunch Program.

The Summer Lunch Bunch program was created by the Salvation Army and the USDA to provide the children of Vermilion with a place for supervised summer activities and most importantly a healthy FREE LUNCH.

The Lunch Bunch program operates June 6th through Aug 26, Monday through Friday 11:00am to 2:00pm at First Assembly of God Church on 4931 Southview (Vermilion).

We are sure grateful to Kathie and the entire Summer Lunch Bunch staff for creating a great safe haven for kids, and for sharing the information with us.
